Prof. Ibrahim Shawki Abdel Hamid

Consultant Psychiatrist

Dr. Ibrahim Shawky’s academic and professional career spans more than four decades. He began his journey in academia in 1982 as a teaching assistant in the Department of Psychology at the Faculty of Arts, Cairo University, and steadily advanced through the academic ranks, attaining the position of full professor in 2007. Throughout his career, he has taught specialized courses across various branches of psychology, supervised numerous master’s and doctoral theses, and served on examination committees at Cairo University as well as various other Arab and international universities. He has also produced a significant body of scholarly work and authored important publications in the field of psychology. Beyond his academic contributions, Dr. Shawky has played a pivotal role in the development of higher education systems and institutional frameworks. He held several administrative positions at Cairo University, served on committees responsible for reviewing and evaluating development projects for Egyptian universities under the Supreme Council of Universities, and was an active member of the Supreme Council of Culture. Furthermore, he possesses extensive expertise in quality assurance and accreditation, having served as both a member and chair of faculty evaluation teams for the National Authority for Quality Assurance and Accreditation of Education (NAQAAE) in Egypt. In addition to his work as a certified trainer across various psychological disciplines—and his ongoing commitment to the advancement of universities and institutions—Dr. Ibrahim Shawky has, since 2011, dedicated his efforts to practical, field-based work through his specialized center, which provides psychological support, family counseling, as well as professional and educational guidance. It provides psychological and developmental counseling to individuals with a high level of professionalism and confidentiality—offered either through in-person sessions at the center in Egypt or online for clients across the globe.

Mohamed El-sharaqwi Film Director,

Film Director, Art Therapist and Trainer

He is a film director, art therapist, and trainer whose career brings together artistic practice, directing, and training. His work draws on an academic background in criticism and drama, complemented by further education and professional training in psychology and family-related fields. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Criticism and Drama earned in Egypt, officially recognized as equivalent to a bachelor’s degree in Türkiye. He also holds a Diploma in Security Studies from Istanbul Sabahattin Zaim University. His professional training includes the practice of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and trauma psychology at Mudanya University, as well as the Family Counseling and Social Life program at Istanbul Esenyurt University. He has also obtained a qualification as a digital forensics expert from Mudanya University. He is a member of the Egyptian Syndicate of Cinematic Professions (Directing Division), the Cinema and Television Union in Türkiye (SİNEMA-TV SENDİKASI), and the Union of Arab Artists.
